I'm having trouble rounding my kids up for school. The weather is absolutely beautiful! Plus it is still summer break for Costa Rican children and all the neighbors are climbing trees, riding bikes and just having fun outside. I'm taking comfort in this quote from Charlotte Mason,"the claims of the schoolroom should not be allowed to encroach on the child's right to long hours daily for exercise and investigation...Vigorous healthful play is, in its turn, fully as important as lessons, as regards both bodily health and brain-power."
